Dunsinane Falls or Pundalu Oya Falls is a waterfall located in the village of Pundalu Oya, nestled within the picturesque Nuwara Eliya District.

The Fall Cascading from a height of 100 meters (328.08 feet), the fall is fed by the waters of the Pundalu Oya stream, which originates from the northern slopes of the towering Great Western Mountain , soaring impressively at an elevation of 2,216 meters above mean sea level [(MAMSL) Kautzsch, 1983]. The water of the fall finally ends up at the Mahaweli Ganga River after taking the route through the Kotmale Oya (Abeyawardana, 2004; Kautzsch, 1983). The top of the Dunsinane Falls is crowned by a huge cube of rockstone and the road from Pundalu Oya town crosses the fall at its lowest third part (Kautzsch, 1983).
