Casuarina Beach

Casuarina Beach (Sinhala: කසුරිනා වෙරළ තීරය; Tamil: கசூரினா கடற்கரை) is a popular shoreline in Karainagar on the Karaitivu island in Jaffna District, Sri Lanka. The beach is popular among the locals as well as foreigners as a place of safe bathing. Common bathing facilities are available in the vicinity area. Grown casuarina trees are found along the beach. Oysters, cones and seashells are available in beautiful shapes on the beach sand dunes.
