Gal Edanda Raja Maha Viharaya (Sinhala: කඩවත පහළකරගහමුණ ගල් ඒදණ්ඩ විහාරය) is a Buddhist temple situated in Kadawatha in Gampaha District, Sri Lanka.

History
According to folklore, the history of this temple runs back to the Anuradhapura Period. Evidence of some ancient structures such as stone pillars is found scattered in the temple premises.

A protected site
The rock with column base situated in the premises of Galedanda Raja Maha Vihara in the Pahalakaragahamuna North Grama Niladari Division in the Divisional Secretariat Division of Mahara is an archaeological protected monument, declared by a government gazette notification published on 23 February 2007.
