Kumbaldiwela Purana Viharaya
Kumbaldiwela Purana Viharaya (Sinhala: කුඹල්දිවෙල පුරාණ විහාරය) is a Buddhist temple situated in Heramitipana village in Kegalle District, Sri Lanka. History This temple is said to have been developed by a local chieftain named Halawata Bandara during the reign of King Vijayabahu V (1335-1341 A.D.) of Kurunegala (Abeyawardana, 2002) . A number of old Sinhalese banners and standards along with other antiquities have been preserved at the museum of this temple ( Abeyawardana, 2002; Perera, 1916) .
