Maeliya Wewa

Maeliya Wewa (Sinhala: මාඑලිය වැව) is a reservoir situated in Maeliya village in Kurunegala District, Sri Lanka. History This has been identified as the ancient Mahaeli tank built by King Dhatusena I [(455-473 A.D.) Nicholas, 1963].
