The Badulla Clock Tower is located in the middle of Badulla town. As mentioned on its wall, the clock tower was built in 1982 by a Tamil named Masamy.

The Badulla Clock Tower (Sinhala: බදුල්ල ඔරලෝසු කණුව) is located in the middle of Badulla town, Sri Lanka. It is an ivory-hued square-shaped tower constructed in the colonial architectural fashion. History As mentioned above the entrance of the clock tower, it was built in 1982 by a Tamil named Masamy Pillay. The English inscription on the tower can be read as follows; This clock tower was presented to the town of Badulla by Mr. R.M.R.
