Udukiriwala Wewa (Sinhala: උඩුකිරිවල වැව) is a reservoir situated in Weeraketiya Town in Hambantota District, Sri Lanka. It was built as a storage tank to fulfil the irrigation needs in the area under the Urubokka Oya scheme which consists of 8 anicuts, 6 minor tanks and and the medium Udukiriwala tank (Arumugam, 1969).

The Reservoir

Udukiriwala Wewa is one of the tanks located in the Urubokka River Basin. At the end of the 1960s, its bund length was about 3,300 ft long and had a storage capacity of 3,200 acre feet (Arumugam, 1969). The water extended over about 650 acres at its full supply level (Arumugam, 1969). It has one spill and two sluices (Arumugam, 1969).
