Gal Edanda Viharaya (Kadawatha) Gal Edanda Raja Maha Viharaya (Sinhala: කඩවත පහළකරගහමුණ ගල් ඒදණ්ඩ විහාරය) is a Buddhist temple situated in Kadawatha in Gampaha District, Sri Lanka. History According to folklore, the history of this temple runs back to the Anuradhapura Period . Evidence of some ancient structures such as stone pillars is found scattered in the temple premises.
