Kulugammana Viharaya
Kulugammana Raja Maha Viharaya (Sinhala: කුළුගම්මන විහාරය) is a Buddhist temple situated in Kulugammana village in Kandy District, Sri Lanka. History There is said to be a town in Kulugammana d uring the reign of King Wimaladharmasuriya I [(1592-1604 A.D.) Abeyawardana, 2004]. However, the Buddhist temple at Kulugammana dates back to the reign of King Buvanekabahu IV of Gampola [( 1344-1354 A.D.) Abeyawardana, 2004 ; Senanayaka, 2018]. The name of this temple is mentioned in the Nampotha , an ancient text written after the 14th century.
