Bodhinagala Forest Hermitage , also known as Bodhinagala Aranya Senasanaya , (Sinhala: බෝධිනාගල ආරණ්‍ය සේනාසනය) is a Buddhist temple situated in Bodhinagala Forest Reserve in Kalutara District, Sri Lanka. History The hermitage was established in 1955 on the eve of the Buddha Jayanthi celebrations (Abeyawardana, 2002). Olaboduwe Sri Revatha Dhamma Kitti Thera, the principal of the Dharmadeepa Vipassana Pirivena in Kaluwamodara is said to be the founder of this hermitage.
