Kabaragala mountain rises to a height of 1,509 m (4950.78 ft.) above mean sea level and it can be easily hiked without a guide as there is a dedicated path leading to the top of the peak. The trail starts from the Maryville Junction in the Nawalapitiya-Dolosbage road and the hike to the 1st viewpoint of the mountain takes around 1 hour and another 50 mins to the 2nd viewpoint. Although the mountain has an almost flat terrain, there is a steep fallout at the end of the peak similar to that of World’s End.
