Chandrasekara Mudalindarama Viharaya

Sri Chandrasekara Mudalindarama Purana Viharaya (Sinhala: ශ්‍රී චන්ද්‍රසේඛර මුදලින්දාරාම විහාරය) is a Buddhist temple situated in Mahawalathenna village in Ratnapura District, Sri Lanka.

History
The temple is located close to Mahawalatenna Walawwa which was originally built by Mahawalatenne Maha Adikaram more than 200 years ago. It is said that Chandrasekara Mudalindaramaya was constructed by one of his sons later.

A protected site
The ancient image house and Hewisi Mandapa belonging to Mahawalathenna Sri Chandrasekara Mudalindarama Purana Temple premises in Mahawalathenna Grama Niladhari Divison in Balangoda Divisional Secretariat Division are archaeological protected monuments, declared by a government Gazette notification published on 6 July 2007.
