Delta Ella Falls (Pussellawa) Delta Ella Falls (Sinhala: ඩෙල්ටා ඇල්ල) is a waterfall located about 5 km east of Pussellawa in Nuwara Eliya District, Sri Lanka. Situated along the Gampola-Nuwara Eliya road (A5) near bridge 41/5 at km post 41, the fall is created by a tributary of the Kotmale Oya . The Falls Standing at a height of about 60 meters, the fall rushes over six cascades, culminating in a pool surrounded by rugged rocks (Kautzsch, 1983) . People around the area call this waterfall Helboda Ella which is actually a 5 m high waterfall located nearby (Kautzsch, 1983). The surrounding region, particularly along the Gampola-Nuwara Eliya road, is known for hosting several waterfalls, especially during or after the rainy season (Kautzsch, 1983).
