Kak Ella Falls (Sinhala: කාක් ඇල්ල) is a small waterfall located in the village of Gammedagama near Deyyandara in the Matara District, Sri Lanka.
The Falls
The Kak Ella Falls can be easily reached via a small path leading from the main road. The falls form a crystalline water line resembling the veil of a bride and descend into a shallow pool below. The pool is suitable for safe bathing. However, during the dry season, the water flow is low affecting the view and the availability of water for bathing.
