Hakuruwela Raja Maha Viharaya Hakuruwela Raja Maha Viharaya (Sinhala: හකුරුවෙල රජ මහා විහාරය) is a Buddhist temple in Hakuruwela village situated within the Grama Niladhari Division of Hakuruwela in the Angunukolapelassa Divisional Secretary Division in Hambantota District, Sri Lanka. The site consists of a Stupa , a Bo tree ( Ficus religosa ), an image house, a monks' dwelling, a Chapter House and several other religious structures. The image house, as recorded over the inner entrance door, has been constructed in 1908 A.D. Presently, the ancient Bhikku rest house, Dhamma discourse hall and restricted Bhikku activity centre (chapter house) on the temple premises have been declared as archaeological protected monuments through the government Gazette notification published on 6 June 2008. .
