Today, only the stone foundations of the fort remain. History The history of the Haldummulla Fort runs back to the Portuguese era in Sri Lanka. It is said that the Portuguese ruled the areas up to Ratnapura, with the entrance to the Uva territory located at Idalgashinna, near which the fort stands.
