Kuruwita Purana Viharaya
Kuruwita Purana Viharaya (Sinhala: කුරුවිට පුරාණ විහාරය) is a Buddhist temple situated in the vicinity of Kuruwita town in Ratnapura District, Sri Lanka.

History
The history of the temple is obscure. The image house of the temple contains several fragments of old paintings that are believed to have been done in the Gampola Period (1341-1412 A.D.).

A protected site
The Stupa, preaching hall and the image house with old paintings of Kuruvita Purana Vihara situated in the Divisional Secretary’s Division of Kuruwita are archaeological protected monuments, declared by a government gazette notification published on 22 November 2002
