The Archaeological Museum of Buduruwagala, Sri Lanka is one of the Regional Museums Administered by the Department of Archaeology. It is situated on the wayside of Wellawaya-Thanamalwila road approximately 5 km distance from the Wellawaya town.
History
The museum was established in 1988 to display archaeologically and culturally valuable items in the Uva Province (Rambukwella, 2014).
Artifacts
The museum preserves a collection of artifacts mainly recovered from Uva province. Antiquities with archaeological and historical value which belong to the Anuradhapura, Polonnaruwa and Kandy periods are also exhibited in the museum.See also
