Archaeological Museum of Buduruwagala

Buduruwagala Archaeological Museum
The Archaeological Museum of Buduruwagala, Sri Lanka is one of the Regional Museums Administered by the Department of Archaeology. It is situated on the wayside of Wellawaya-Thanamalwila road approximately 5 km distance from the Wellawaya town.
 
History
The museum was established in 1988 to display archaeologically and culturally valuable items in the Uva Province (Rambukwella, 2014).

Artifacts
The museum preserves a collection of artifacts mainly recovered from Uva province. Antiquities with archaeological and historical value which belong to the Anuadhapura, Polonnaruwa and Kandy periods are also exhibited in the museum.
