Ruwanweliseya Slab Inscription of King Nissankamalla (Sinhala: නිශ්ශංකමල්ල රජුගේ රුවන්වැලිසෑ පුවරු ලිපිය) is a slab inscription found in the premises of Ruwanweliseya Stupa in Anuradhapura, Sri Lanka.
Discovery
The inscription was discovered in 1874, by the Buddhist monk Naranvita Thera (Wickremasinghe, 1928). Presently, it has been erected on the terrace (near the eastern entrance) of the Ruwanweliseya Stupa.

Inscription
The record has been engraved on one side of a smoothed and ruled slab. It contains 35 lines of writing extending in an area of 3 ft. 14 in. by 3 ft. 8 in. (Wickremasinghe, 1928). The inscription has been written in the Sanskritic Sinhalese language but the last three lines are in Sanskrit, representing a stanza (Wickremasinghe, 1928).
Content
The inscription contains a general account of the various philanthropic and religious acts done by King Nissankamalla (1187-1196 A.D.) and also about his state visit to Anuradhapura in his fourth regnal year (Wickremasinghe, 1928). Further, it records the worshipping of the Ruwanweliseya Stupa by the king and the steps he took to restore the Mirisawetiya as well as other Viharas (Wickremasinghe, 1928).

ශ්‍රී ලංකාවේ අනුරාධපුර පිහිටි රුවන්වැලිසෑය දාගැබ් මළුවෙහි නව බුද්ධ මන්දිරය අසල නැගෙනහිර ප්‍රවේශය දෙසින් වූ පුවරු ලිපිය මේ නමින් හැඳින්වේ.
ශිලා ලේඛනය1874 වර්ෂයේදී නාරන්විට භික්ෂුව විසින් සොයාගත් මෙම ශිලාමය පුවරුවෙහි සුමට කරන ලද එක් පසක පමණක් මෙම ශිලා ලේඛනය රචනා කොට ඇත. සමාන්තර රේඛා මත කොටවන ලද ලිපිය පේලි 35කින් සමන්විත වන අතර ඉන් අවසන් පේලි තුන හැරුණු විට ඉතිරි සියල්ල සංස්කෘත සිංහල භාෂාවෙන් යුක්ත වේ. අවසන් පේලි තුනෙහි සංස්කෘත ගාථාවක් අන්තර්ගතය.
ශිලා ලිපියෙහි අන්තර්ගත වන්නේ නිශ්ශංකමල්ල රජු (ක්‍රි.ව. 1187-1196) විසින් සිදුකරන ලද විවිධ පරහිතකාමී හා ආගමික ක්‍රියාවන් පිළිබඳ සාමාන්‍ය විස්තරයකි. රජු විසින් ඔහුගේ සිව්වන රාජ්‍ය වර්ෂයේදී අනුරාධපුර සංචාරයක් සිදුකල බව එහි සඳහන්ය. රජු රුවන්වැලිසෑය වන්දනා කල බවත් ඔහු විසින් මිරිසවැටිය හා තවත් විහාර ප්‍රතිසංස්කරණයට ක්‍රියාමාර්ග ගත් බවත් මෙම ශිලා ලේඛනය මගින් හෙළිදරව් කරයි.
