Andawala Ella Falls is a waterfall situated in Andawala village in Nuwara Eliya District, Sri Lanka. The falls is located on Kandy-Nuwara Eliya road via Walapane-Padiyapelella close to the 49th km post.
The fall has got its name due to a large eel (Sinhala: Anda) who is said to have lived in the quarry at the commencement of the waterfall (Abeyawardana, 2004). The fall is 40.31 m in height and its water finally ends up at the Mahaweli Ganga river after taking the route through the Belihul Oya (Abeyawardana, 2004).
