Pahanthudawa Ella Falls
Pahanthudawa Ella Falls (Sinhala: පහන්තුඩාව ඇල්ල) is a waterfall situated near Belihuloya in Ratnapura District, Sri Lanka. Created by the Belihul Oya river, this fall is called Pahanthudawa due to its base pool in the shape of a clay lamp and the fall resembling the wick of a lamp. In Sinhala language, Pahanthuda means "the wick of the lamp".
