Oyamaduwa Archaeological Site

Oyamaduwa Archaeological Site (Sinhala: ඔයාමඩුව පුරාවිද්‍යා ස්ථානය) is a ruined Buddhist place of worship situated in Oyamaduwa village in Anuradhapura District, Sri Lanka. 

History
The ruins of a Stupa and a Tempita building (a structure on pillars) belonging to the 8-10th centuries A.D. were discovered from this place in 2012. They have been excavated and preserved today by the Department of Archaeology.
