St. John the Baptist's Church (Sinhala: ශාන්ත ජෝන් බැප්ටිස්ට් දේවස්ථානය) is a church situated in Mutwal (or Modara) in Colombo, Sri Lanka.

History
The history of this church runs back to the Portuguese period. The Franciscan missionary record of 30 November 1599 was referred to the St. John Church in Mutwal (Jayasinghe, 2016). The mortal remains of the last Oratorian, Mathes Caetano’s have been reposed here (Jayasinghe, 2016).

The present church building was erected in 1846 (Jayasinghe, 2016).
