Gunasekara House (Galle Fort)

The Gunasekara House (Sinhala: ගාලු කොටුවේ ගුණසේකර නිවස) is an old house located on the wayside of Hospital St. in Galle Fort, Sri Lanka.

History

This house is said to be more than 200 years old (De Silva & Chandrasekara, 2009). It had been used as a guest house before it become a private residence (De Silva & Chandrasekara, 2009). Some renovations have been done to the building in 1948, 1956 and 2002 (De Silva & Chandrasekara, 2009).
