Nalagana Ella Falls

Nalagana Ella Falls
Nalagana Ella Falls (Sinhala: නලඟන ඇල්ල) is a waterfall situated near Dedugala village in Kegalle District, Sri Lanka. The fall is about 21 m (68.89 ft.) high and originates from a tributary of the Kelani Ganga River. It is not visible from the road and one has to walk a little into the woods to reach the waterfall. In the Sinhala language, Nalangana means the dancing woman.

The place is not suitable for safe bathing as the water flow may suddenly increase due to the impact of the small hydropower plant installed at the site.
