Gamini Central College (Nuwara Eliya)

Gamini Central College (Sinhala: නුවරඑළිය ගාමිණී මධ්‍ය මහා විද්‍යාලය) is a government National School situated in the middle of Nuwara Eliya town, Sri Lanka.

History
The school was established in a small building on 7 May 1926 and became a Maha Vidyalaya later (Abeyawardana, 2004). On 28 November 1983, it was upgraded into a Central College (Abeyawardana, 2004).

Facilities
Presently, the school has common facilities such as classrooms, laboratories, libraries, medical units, playgrounds etc.
