Payagala St. Francis Xavier's Church
St. Francis Xavier's Church (Sinhala: පයාගල සාන්ත ෆ්‍රැන්සිස් සේවියර් දේවස්ථානය) is a Catholic church situated in Payagala in Kalutara District, Sri Lanka. It is located on the wayside of the Kalutara-Beruwala road near Payagala South Railway Station. The church is said to have been established in 1871 and is considered one of the oldest Catholic shrines in the area. 

A protected site
The Payagala St. Francis Xaviour Church building situated in Grama Niladhari Division, Mahapayagala in the Divisional Secretary’s Division, Beruwala is an archaeological protected monument, declared by the government Gazette notification published on 23 January 2009.
