Sri Bodhirajarama Viharaya, also known as Sri Somananda Pirivena (Sinhala: ඉහළමුල්ල ශ්‍රී බෝධිරාජාරාම විහාරය, ශ්‍රී සෝමානන්ද පිරිවෙණ), is a Buddhist temple situated in Ihalamulla village near Ankumbura in Kandy District, Sri Lanka.

History

Although there are no valid written sources, the image house of this temple is said to have been constructed in the 18th century. The deteriorated murals and the sculptures in the image house belong to the art style of the Kandyan Period. There is some evidence to prove that the building was subjected to renovation in later times.

A Pirivena named Somananda was established in 1966 on the temple premises to improve the education of Buddhist monks.
