Balaharuwa Wewa B alaharuwa Wewa (Sinhala: බලහරුව වැව) is a medium reservoir situated in Balaharuwa village in Monaragala District, Sri Lanka. History The breached tank was restored in 1956 (Arumugam, 1969). The Reservoir Located within the Kirindi Oya River Basin , the reservoir bund is about 4,200 ft. long and the water extends in an area of about 130 acres at its full supply level (Arumugam, 1969).
