Manavulu Sandeshaya

Manavulu Sandeshaya (also known as Mahanagakula Sandeshaya or Ramanna Sandeshaya) is the first Pali-written messenger poem in Sri Lanka composed in the 13th century. The message has been sent from the Ramba Viharaya in Hambantota to a monk named Sangharakkhitha who resided in Arimaddanapura in Myanmar. Consisting of 62 verses, the authorship of this work is uncertain.
