Moray Falls, also known as Adam's Peak Falls (Sinhala: මොරේ ඇල්ල), is an about 10 m (32.80 ft.) high waterfall situated in Maskeliya in Nuwara Eliya District, Sri Lanka (Kautzsch, 1983). Created by a small stream with its source on the southeast slope of Sri Pada Mountain, the falls cascade into the Maskeliya Reservoir (or Maussakelle) at its southern corner (Kautzsch, 1983).
A view of Moray Falls can be obtained at a distance from the nearby Maskeliya town. The fall can be reached from Maskeliya town via Moray Estate. Near the Moray Falls is the Gartmore Falls plunges from a rock wall into the Maskeliya Reservoir (Kautzsch, 1983).
