Navodagama Archaeological Site

Navodagama Archaeological Site (Sinhala: නවෝදාගම පුරාවිද්‍යා ස්ථානය) is a ruined Buddhist place of worship situated in Nawodagama village in Anuradhapura District, Sri Lanka. The ruins are found scattered in the premises of a Buddhist temple named Sri Madhurasiri Viharaya.

History
The ruins of a Stupa smaller in size and a Tempita building (a structure on pillars) have been discovered from this place. They were excavated and preserved by the Department of Archaeology in 2011.
